A Boeing 737 with a capacity of 162 to 200 passengers landed at the Belgrade airport at 6:21 a.m. Central European Time.

The Dubai airport announced that the first flight from the United Arab Emirates to Serbia, after the suspension of flights due to tensions in the Middle East, took off around 11:30 p.m. Central European Time.

It is a “Boeing 737 Max 8” aircraft, of the air carrier “Fly Dubai,” with a capacity of 162 to 200 passengers.

The airline from Dubai, “Emirates,” announced yesterday that it is starting operations by performing a limited number of flights.

“Priority is given to passengers with earlier reservations, and those who have been rescheduled for these limited flights, ‘Emirates’ will contact directly,” the company’s statement said.

The air carrier appealed to passengers “not to come to the airport unless they have been notified.” The company added that all other flights remain suspended until further notice.

After several days of total suspension of traffic due to the closure of airspace and the security crisis in the region, the three largest Gulf airlines began a limited restoration of operations during the course of yesterday.
